Welcome to pokegravy.com, my corner of the internet for many, many years. I’m so curious what led you here!
Maybe you saw a music video I directed, or one of my short films at a festival. Maybe you listen to my podcast, or attended an artist talk I hosted.
Perhaps you took one of my college animation courses, or a cartooning class I taught at your camp or elementary school. And if you watched a really weird cartoon in your Spanish class, there’s a decent chance I directed it.
If you’ve been on the internet a REALLY long time, you might remember that flash cartoon about bathroom etiquette, or maybe even the daily webcomic I drew as a high schooler in the early 2000s.**
Now that you’ve discovered and/or rediscovered my work, I hope you stick around. These days I’m energized about helping brands, educators, musicians and artists tell their stories by creating animated cartoons that are interesting, funny, and just the right amount of weird. I’m also very passionate about having better conversations, and sharing those conversations through both audio and animation.
Some recent interviews/press: Brookline News, The Painting Your Path Podcast, Behind the Pixel Podcast
I currently live in MA with my wife Mia, an incredible mosaic artist, and my one year old daughter Shelby.
I’ve spent most of my life in New England but have also spent time living, creating and teaching in LA, Tel Aviv and Beijing.
**This comic was called “Poke & Gravy,” the origin of this URL and my studio name.
